May 5, 2003 The first drawing I did in this series. I drew these the summer after my senior year of high school. The main difference between these and the ones that came before is I drew these from what I saw rather than what was in my head. I think this week's drawings are better for it, because my observation is better than my internal spatial senses. I also learned to ask if I could draw people after this drawing. Nothing bad happened, but I definitely got embarrassed when I looked up and saw all three looking straight at me.
