April 02, 2003 This one was inspired by Psalm 23 "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." ... that and finals... I played with the contrasts on this one, but didn't really like the result, because pencil never scans very dark. I left it somewhat darker, but I think the original is best. Even the original has suffered somewhat, though, because all the pencil has smudged on the page in front of it. At first, it was kinda cool because it gave it a hazy atmosphere that I think fits, but now it's just getting blurry. Really wish I had sprayed it.
