April 18, 2003 Happy Good Friday. (and I'm off work today, so there's a little extra-good there) A guy leaning against the railing on a pier in the wind. Yes, he's supposed to be lonely and dejected, and yes, that is supposed to be a girl walking away in the background. I drew this after a particularly painful episode in my life. I never finished this drawing, though, because a short month later, everything changed for the better. It's actually fitting that this comes on Good Friday. Something painful happens but paves the way for something lese that makes the previous pain worth it. You might actually think I planned it out that way.
