Nothing Special is a comic I started conceptualizing when I realized that
my comic in my college paper, Crazy Eskimo, was drawing to a close, yet I
wasn't ready to be done yet. I still had more stories to tell, more jokes to
make (hopefully), and frankly, I just enjoy doing it too darn much. So I started Nothing Special with the idea that a webcomic would be the ideal way for me to keep doing what I love.
Nothing Special follows the life of Rob Rivelo, the cousin of Tom, the
star of Crazy Eskimo. Rob is just about to enter the wonderful world that is college, allowing me to take another crack at college humor with the benefit
of hindsight (I wrote myself into certain plot holes, shall we say, in Crazy
Eskimo).
Technically speaking, Nothing Special will be updated every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday. Occasionally, I might post sketches and the like on
Sundays, but we'll see how the regular comic goes first. If you have any
